Ranks well in Forbes "Global 2000" Ranking of Major Corporations; scores high in the 14th Annual Nikkei PRISM Rankings

Nitto Denko, Hydranautics’ parent company, ranked No. 1,087 in the Forbes magazine "Global 2000" ranking this year. The ranking of major corporations including financial institutions was based on an evaluation of the composite of sales revenue, net income, total assets and market value for 2005, all in US dollar terms. Another requirement was that annual sales must be at least $1 billion and share price at least $5. Market value was calculated for Feb. 28, 2007.

Additionally, Nitto Denko Group once again placed high - ranking 47th - among the 300 "Excellent Companies" in the 14th annual "PRISM" rankings of major Japanese corporations for Fiscal 2006. Every year, Nikkei and its research arm Nikkei Research together choose top 300 firms by using a multilateral evaluation system called "PRISM (Private Sector Multi Evaluation System)" they developed together. In the PRISM evaluation, companies are ranked based on the four factors: 1. Flexibility & Social Responsibility, 2. Profitability & Growth Potential, 3. Research & Development, and 4. Human Resources Youthfulness.
