Hydranautics Awarded Eight New Municipal Contracts

Membrane elements will supply over 18.5 MGD of municipal drinking water

Hydranautics, the global leader in membrane technology, has been awarded eight new US municipal installation contracts in the spring of 2007. With a combined capacity of 18.5 MGD (70,030 m3/d), these eight installations demonstrate Hydranautics’ broad scope of solutions to a variety of municipal feedwater challenges:

Taunton River, Massachusetts
This Integrated Membrane Design system utilizes 648 CPA3 (Composite Polyamide) high rejection brackish water elements to treat tidal influenced feedwater.
Hutchinson, Kansas
1008 energy saving/high productivity ESPA2 (Energy Saving Polyamide) elements put their superior rejection to work on a tough well-water feed source.
Hardinsburg, Kentucky
A hybrid system, this ESPA1/ESPA2 installation combines 294 energy saving/lower salt passage elements.
Flagler Beach, Florida
Over 400 high performance ultra-low pressure ESNA1-LF (Energy Saving Nanofiltration) are in pilot test with excellent results.
Ormond Beach, Florida
336 energy saving /low-pressure ESPA2 elements in two trains treat brackish feedwater in East Florida’s ‘Birthplace of Speed.’
Dunes Development-Palm Bay, Florida
This RO (reverse osmosis) system uses 112 reduced-maintenance CPA3 elements.
Palm Bay, Florida
185 Hydranautics “workhorse” CPA2 elements treat well-water with day/in-day out reliability.
